Deputy Minister of Higher Education Inaugurated CAC Bank’s office at Sana'a University

Together with Dr. Fawzi Al-Sagheer - Sana'a University President and Mr. Mohammed Saleh Al-Lai - Chairman of CAC Bank, Dr. Abdullah Al-Shami, Deputy Minister of Higher Education today inaugurated CAC Bank’s office at Sana’a University.
During the inauguration ceremony which was attended by number of senior representatives from Sana’a University, CAC Bank, and a number of private universities presidents and representatives, the Deputy Minister of Higher Education pointed out that the opening of CAC Bank office inside Sana’a University comes within the framework of administrative and financial reforms carried out by the university and for achieving the transparency and integrity principles as well as controlling the financial resources of the university. Moreover, the Deputy Minister added that the actively and complementary partnership between the Ministry and its subsidiaries and CAC Bank must be insisted by releasing the electronic channel to unify registration and acceptance in public and private universities and technical education electronically in order to collect fees through CAC Bank.
Then Dr. Al-Shami praised the contributions of CAC Bank in providing comprehensive banking services to the cadre and staff of Sana’a University and its role in achieving the economic stability and providing cash liquidity to the market. Dr. Al-Shami expressed his trust and hopes of the CAC Bank to contribute in financing projects of education and scientific researches in order to participate in promoting educational process as well as advanced researches that addresses a lot of problems that faces the national economy.
Furthermore, the President of Sana’a University praised the complementary partnership with CAC Bank which was proved today by the opening the office of CAC Bank inside the University for the purpose of providing comprehensive banking and financial services to the cadre and staff of the University in additional to the role of collecting student’s fees in a unified channel. He also praised the role of CAC Bank in supporting and sponsoring the student’s activities and graduation ceremonies in Sana’a University.
On the other hand, Mr. Mohammed Saleh Al-Lai – Chairman of CAC Bank indicated the importance of offering banking services to the highest knowledge community in the country and for this reason CAC Bank has opened the office inside the University and this office represents a significance of introducing banking services to Sana’a University members and affiliates. Mr. Al-Lai affirmed the perspective of the bank that this office will form an orientation to the Yemeni Universities to enter the financial and banking markets and diversify their products to meet the requirements of educational process relatives.
After That, Mr. Ibrahim Nijad- Deputy CEO for Banking Operations Sector outlined the electronic, financial and banking services, the bank is offering to its local and abroad customers.
Finally, the Deputy Minister, Sana’a University President and the Chairman of CAC Bank toured inside the office and its departments and listened to brief explanations from the Office Manager about the sophisticated financial and banking services the office will provide to University members and affiliates.
